TV WEEK: Homeland billboards...

Here's one way to draw attention to a new show like Homeland.

First intrigue audiences with an initial teaser billboard, then go big and bold with a super-sized billboard along L.A.'s infamous Sunset Strip.

And for good measure replace the teaser billboard with the new creative to reveal the show's stars, Claire Danes and Damian Lewis, and more info about the premise of the show.

These are great creatives for a series about surveillance and international terrorism, where Claire Danes CIA Agent suspects a recently returned Marine from eight years of enemy confinement of being turned by his captors and of being a potential terrorist threat to the U.S.

The 'watch careful.ly' teaser was snapped on August 23 and replaced by the standard Homeland creative around September 12.

The giant version on the side of the 9000 building on Sunset Boulevard was photographed on September 19, 2011.

Let's see if these cool billboards will be enough to entice viewers to watch carefully, or at all.

Simon Cowell critica a Lady Gaga, Beyonce y Katy Perry

El ex jurado de American Idol, Simon Cowell, considera que Lady Gaga al igual que Beyoncé y Katy Perry necesitan aparecer constantemente en televisión porque sin la ayuda de los medios visuales no venderian.

"Si alguna vez has oído a Lady Gaga te darás cuenta de que es la cantante más aburrida del mundo. Tienes que verla, necesitas la televisión", comentó Simon

"Lo mismo pasa con Beyoncé o con Katy Perry. Todo gira en torno a la imagen. Tienes que tener ese factor X", añadió.

Simon, de 51 años, también se burló del presentador del programa American Idol, describiéndolo como el todo lo contrario de Steve Jones, el conductor de The X Factor. "Él es alto, moreno, británico, es básicamente el polo opuesto de Ryan Seacrest. Hay que añadir que es inteligente también".

Simon abandonó su puesto como jurado del programa American Idol para lanzar la nueva versión de su programa, donde también se buscan estrellas del pop.

There's something about a show which has a serial killer as its star that lends itself to creative visuals every season for Dexter.

This 'Avenging angel' billboard with Michael C. Hall sporting blood splatter wings is extremely arresting and perfectly captures the themes of the Showtime drama in its sixth season.

This eye-catching Dexter billboard was snapped along Sunset Boulevard at the top of La Cienega Boulevard on September 13, 2011.

Demi Moore & Ashton Kutcher Breaking Up Over Britney Spears??? "Two & Half Men" Producers Furious!

The rumor around town is that Demi and Ashton are splitting up after six years of marriage....

The two people that helped older women date younger men across the world...may now be calling it quits!

Sources are saying theey have been living apart "for months" and that the couple is headed for a $290 million divorce.


The cause for the split?

Rumor has it, the new Two and a Half Men star has cheated on his wife multiple times, including with Britney Spears. O_0


But why are the producers of "Two And A Half Men" so angry?

They are reportedly furious with Ashton for using his new exposure on the show to peddle companies in which he has a financial stake in the form of a customized laptop.

On the show Ashton plays internet billionaire Walden Schmidt, and just eight minutes into the second episode of the season, viewers saw the laptop emblazoned with all sorts of decals. They were for Foursquare, Hipmunk, Flipboard and GroupMe.


We're assuming the advertisers did not pay for their appearance on the show...and that's why the producers are so angry. But somehow the decals managed to get passed everyone at CBS....

Prohibition-era based Boardwalk Empire returns for a second season with this giant billboard towering over Sunset Boulevard and a smattering of smaller billboards lining the streets of Los Angeles.

The HBO show took home the coveted Golden Globes for Best TV Drama and Best Actor in a Drama for Steve Buscemi at the awards ceremony January this year, so let's see what this season holds for the acclaimed series.

This super-sized Boardwalk Empire billboard was photographed towering over L.A.'s Sunset Strip on August 25 and smaller format snapped along Santa Monica Boulevard on August 31, 2011.
